Pastie Learns Erlang, Lua, io, Haskell, Lisp, and more...

Following up on my previous post... Pastie adds support for over 15 new languages and some easy to guess/bookmark URLs to go with them...

Pastie Learns Go

Thanks to Jim Dovey's work on a Go syntax for TextMate, Pastie now supports syntax coloring Go source code.

Pasting a lot of Go code? Pastie's Go site will pre-select Go as your Pastie language: http://go.pastie.org/

Perl, Java, or C# more your style?

If you aren't a fan of the default Ruby on Rails language setting you might be happy to know Pastie now supports passing your language of choice as a parameter. This should make it easier to bookmark Pastie ready-to-go for your favorite language.

Here area some examples:

• Python - http://pastie.org/?p=16
• Java - http://pastie.org/?p=9

You can see the numeric for all available parsers by viewing the source of the language drop down on the new paste page. I'm also considering more URLs... We'll see how that works out. :-)
