So every now and then I hear something like this:
I think the one thing missing from pastie is either a paste expiry date or a way for the author to delete the paste when it's no longer needed.
Pastie doesn't have expiration dates on purpose. Pastes are forever. Why? Because I think it's way too fucking cool that this still works:

Now, you don't have to share my philosophy. If you know your paste has a short shelf life or isn't relevant to the net at large, just paste it privately. Pastie has supported this for a long time now (and it seems quite popular).
I've also heard rumors there are other paste sites. :-)
